Safety Guidelines

​Users are required to observe these safety guidelines when using the equipment. Failure to do so may result in equipment damage, personal injury or lost of life. In such cases, Dragon Coast shall not bear any associated costs and liabilities.​

  1. User should fully check the equipment before using, if any equipment is found faulty or damaged, user should not enter the water and should notify staff on duty immediately for replacement or refund.

  2. When using any types of equipment provided by Dragon Coast, user is required to wear the life vest and/or leash at ALL times.

  3. SUP leashes prevent you from becoming separated from your paddleboard. If user encounters windy, choppy conditions and a strong current, user should remain attached with the SUP leash.

  4. User should not under the influence of any kind of alcohol or prescription drugs when using the equipment.

  5. Children under the age of 18 shall only operate the equipment under the supervision of an adult.

  6. Before entering the sea, user is required to do sufficient research regarding the weather, water condition, tide times, and other related safety information of the area. 

  7. Avoid offshore winds. It will quickly blow your paddleboard far out to sea, which can make it extremely tiring and difficult to paddle back to the beach.

  8. When paddling, user should avoid hitting any sharp objects on land or in water.

  9. Do not paddle alone without first notifying your friends or family. Bring your phone (with a waterproof pouch) and make sure you can contact others for help if needed.

  10. User must wear appropriate attire, footwear, use appropriate equipment, protective gears as necessary and observe all safety rules and conditions.

Booking Terms and Agreements

Users are agreed to the following Terms and Agreements when the booking or purchase is confirmed and payment is settled.

  1. User must return the equipment to the equipment collection area upon the end of the booking session. User must pay additional hire charges for late return of the equipment.

  2. User should report the damage and/or lost of equipment to Dragon Coast staff. Dragon Coast reserves the right to claim for the damage from the user.

  3. User must observe the Safety Guidelines and any direction given by the Dragon Coast staff.

  4. User shall indemnify and keep indemnified Dragon Coast against all actions, claims, and demands by any person who suffers or sustains any death, injury, loss or damage arising out of or as a result of the use of the equipment by the user or any person so authorized by him/her due to the negligence on his/her part or on the part of such authorized person.

  5. User hereby agrees that by booking any equipment from Dragon Coast, user accepts liability for any damages or injury that may occur while using any of the equipment regardless of its condition.

  6. User understands that user is waiving hir/her right to bring a court of action to recover compensation or obtain any other remedy for any injury to himself/herself, his/her property, or his/her death, however caused, arising out of his/her use of any equipment from Dragon Coast.
